2026 MLB Playoff Predictions: Upsets Are Coming

The Pirates are done, so OffBeat is going around Major League Baseball as October begins.

Alex Stumpf breaks down all four Wild Card matchups and makes his picks. Can the young White Sox finish off an 81-81 Astros team? Does Philadelphia have enough star power to overcome its ugly finish? Can Aaron Judge push the Yankees past Boston? And could San Diego's dominant back end of the bullpen be built perfectly for a short series?

Then Alex goes through the rest of the bracket and explains why he has the Brewers and Rays meeting in the World Series.
