NS9 Postgame Show: Paul Skenes Reaches 200 Strikeouts as Pirates Win Final Home Game, 2-1

Paul Skenes finished his 2026 season by reaching 200 strikeouts as the Pirates beat the Cardinals 2-1 in their final game at PNC Park.

Cody and Doug break down Skenes’ final start, Mason Montgomery continuing to look like the answer at closer, another productive day from Oneil Cruz, Brandon Lowe driving in a run and where this Pirates team stands after guaranteeing itself at least a .500 season. They also get into the bigger question hanging over everything: after taking a real step forward in 2026, what does Pittsburgh actually do with it this offseason?
