Church membership is more than paperwork, a directory, or a name on a roster. It is a visible expression of belonging to Christ and committing to His people in a faithful local church. In this episode of Equipping You in Grace, Dave Jenkins considers the New Testament's vision for the Christian life. Believers are not called to isolated Christianity or casual attendance. They are called to worship, serve, grow, suffer, and persevere together as members of Christ's body. This episode addresses why the local church matters, how Scripture assumes identifiable belonging, the blessings of faithful shepherding and accountability, and how Christians can move from merely attending to faithfully belonging.
