BB28 Finale Recap — RHAP: We Know Big Brother

BB28 Finale Recap

Big Brother 28 comes to a dramatic close as the house pivots from alliances and competition wins to raw emotion and big moves on finale night. Rob Cesternino is joined by Taran Armstrong, Melissa Deni, and Pooya for a deep dive into how it all played out, spotlighting the season’s climactic decisions and game-changing moments.

The finale centers on Rick Devens’s path to victory, as he takes home the win after a season packed with layered strategy and shocking choices. The hosts break down the pivotal Final 3 HOH competition, where Devens outperforms Taylor and Drew, cementing his ability to stay cool under pressure. Taylor’s last-minute pitch persuades Devens to cut Drew and take her to the Final 2, a move both risky and emotional. Jury management and speech strategy become critical, with Taylor and Devens both prepping answers, but Devens’s handling of questions, especially when sidestepping naming Drew as his “most controlled” houseguest, shows savvy gameplay. The episode explores jury perceptions, last-minute campaigning, and the aftermath for Drew, who walks away from a sure-thing alliance empty-handed.

Melissa highlights the emotional impact of Devens’s decision to cut Drew and the strong gameplay that led Taylor into the Final 2.
Taran analyzes how Devens’s jury answers avoided alienating key jurors and leveraged pre-existing relationships from earlier rounds.
Social strategy comes to the fore as the hosts discuss the lessons future players may learn from Drew’s safer path versus Devens’s willingness to make bold moves.
The group laughs about the memorable house moments, like the costuming in the final comps and the live finale’s awkward reunion pacing.

As alliances shift and bold moves pay off, Big Brother 28’s players, and fans, are left wondering: will future houseguests take bigger risks to secure the win? Catch the full breakdown and relive the game’s wildest moments in this finale recap.
