SAD TRUTH: Tony Petitti's 24-Team Playoff PLAN Would RUIN This Weekend of College Football!

Big Ten Commissioner Tony Petitti's push for a 24-team college football playoff is going to ruin the sanctity of college football Saturdays in the fall.  This weekend is a perfect example where Oregon at USC and Iowa at Michigan are must win games for all schools involved if they are going to make the CFP because of the difficulty of their upcoming schedules.  If we have a 24-team college football playoff field instead of a 12-team field, losses on a Saturday in September won't matter as much.

Unfortunately, a 24-team field seems inevitable so enjoy this weekend's Big Ten games because by next season they may have the feel of an exhibition game moving forward!
