The Reason Dusty May Isn't Naming the Dallas Mavericks Starters

The Dallas Mavericks still don't have a set starting lineup at NBA training camp, and head coach Dusty May says the Mavs are focused on 2- and 3-man combinations instead of a first five. Who joins Cooper Flagg and Kyrie Irving in the Mavs starting lineup, and what did we learn from Dallas Mavericks training camp about Cooper Flagg's height, offensive rebounding, and the NBA's new points of emphasis?

Nick Angstadt (@NickVanExit) breaks down why Dusty May isn't settling on a starting five, why Daniel Gafford is the likely starting center with Dereck Lively II and Morez Johnson Jr. limited, and how PJ Washington, Naji Marshall, Max Christie, and Zaccharie Risacher fit into the wing battle. Nick predicts the most likely Mavs starting lineup and a younger lineup for the future, plus why Cooper Flagg called Zaccharie Risacher the team's most in-shape player. He also covers Dusty May's praise of Marcus Sasser's off-ball play, Santi Aldama, Caleb Martin, Tarik Biberovic, and what the NBA referees told the Mavs about push-offs and flopping.
