Just a one minute English speech by Thinking Fox. Yesterday was sports day at my son's kindergarten. When it comes to sports day, one of the main events is the running race. In this event, parents can wait at the finish line and watch their children run toward them. Last year and the year before, my son kept running past the finish line and ran straight into my arms. So this year, I was looking forward to seeing the same scene again. The teacher blew the whistle and he started running. Watching him run, it hit me that he had become so much faster than last year. My son finished, and I got ready to catch him in my arms, just like last year. But then he just ran past me without even looking, as if I wasn't even there, and returned to where the other kids were sitting. It stung a little, but I thought it was also a sign of his growth and independence. I hope he keeps growing up well and healthy from now on. That's it. See you next time.
