◈ Elias La Fuente. Calypso Syntetico
Opens with a cocky salsa bassline that knows exactly what it's doing. Rhodes shimmer over a shuffled 2-step grid, the sub-bass sitting low and wide. Tabla and organ stack into a polyrhythm that pulls from baile funk and Cuban swing at the same time. Around 128 BPM, the groove locks hard.
The drums hit like classic MJ Cole-era UKG. Ghost rimshots, syncopated snares, that signature swing. Then juke and footwork patterns cut across the bar, fracturing the rhythm just enough to keep you off-balance. Tech house dembow pressure underneath it all.

Calypso Syntetico is a direct transmission. Old school 2-step DNA crossed with Afro-Caribbean juke energy and deep house soul. Warm analog textures, euphoric chorus rush, soulful Rhodes carrying the signal home. Elias La Fuente broadcasts from the intersection where garage lineage meets something harder to name.
