◈ ELIAS LA FUENTE. TANGO.
Salsa DNA hits first. A cocky, swinging bassline locks in before the 2-step shuffle even arrives. When it does, those ghost rimshots and skipping UKG hi-hats carry the full weight of late-90s micro-garage. Around 128 BPM. Tight enough to snap, loose enough to move.
Rhodes chords shimmer warm over a sub that rolls low and clean. Tabla rhythms cut sideways through the groove, pulling against the dembow stutter. Organ stabs land like punctuation. The polyrhythm breathes on its own, hypnotic and soulful, the kind of track that gets bigger the longer you stay in it.
Footwork's fractured step and juke's raw propulsion run underneath it all. Elias La Fuente pulls these threads without knotting them. The salsa swing, the UKG shuffle, the deep tech pressure. All of it in motion at once.
