◈ Elias La Fuente. 'Introducion.' Indian electronic, routed through South India.
The groove arrives confident. A thick, sliding bassline locks in early and doesn't let go. Tabla and sub-bass find each other fast, the kind of low-end conversation that feels ancient and club-ready at the same time. Rhodes shimmer across the top. Organ stabs cut through on the chorus like a signal breaking clear.
The 2-step shuffle is present throughout. Ghost rimshots, syncopated UKG drum patterns, that micro-garage swing sitting just off the grid the way MJ Cole-era tracks always did. The rhythm breathes. It pulls back, then it hits.
