◈ ENEON. Millenials Funk. Shibuya signal, dispatched on UXRZONE.
Opens on a Motown-warm ambiance. Filtered 2-step beat settling in slow, Rhodes sitting right up front. Then the snare rolls hit, shuffled percussion tightening the coil, and the drop lands hard. A Motown disco bassline takes the lead, absolutely virtuosic, threading through punchy 2-step drums and soulful vocal chops like it owns the room. Disco strings flare. Horn stabs cut. The groove swings with that late-nineties UK garage shuffle you felt in your chest, not your head.
The breakdown strips it back. Warm Rhodes returns. A saxophone solo opens up space. Chorus guitar ghosts the edges. Filtered drums hold the pulse low and steady. By the outro, the bass is all that's left. Motown funk descending into static.
