Send us Fan Mail

Latif Mercado has spent more than 30 years helping move Freestyle music from the stage to the business table.
From working with Lil’ Suzy as a child star, to managing Angel OCG of The Cover Girls, creating the S.A.L. touring concept with Suzy, Angel, and Lisette Melendez, reuniting The Original Cover Girls, and booking thousands of shows across the country, Latif has seen the music business from every angle.
On this episode of The Felix Sama Podcast, we talk about the real work behind the spotlight.
The bookings.
The artists.
The promoters.
The contracts.
The loyalty.
The pressure.
The business behind keeping Freestyle alive.
If you are a DJ, producer, singer, promoter, event planner, or music lover, this conversation gives you a front row seat to the side of the industry most people never see.
