EP84 Japanese Only Challenge 3: My Daily Life

In this episode, it’s another Japanese Only Challenge!

This time, I’m talking about my daily life in Japanese.

First, listen to me talk at a normal speed. Then, I’ll say it again and introduce some useful Japanese words and expressions from the episode.

You’ll hear lots of everyday Japanese phrases like:

• mezamashi o setto suru — set an alarm
• okoshi ni kuru — come to wake someone up
• asagohan o tsukuru — make breakfast
• gakkou no junbi o tetsudau — help someone get ready for school
• kodomo-tachi o gakkou ni okuru — take my children to school
• sentaku ya souji o suru — do the laundry and cleaning
• kaimono ni iku — go shopping
• yuuhan no junbi o suru — prepare dinner
• kodomo-tachi o mukae ni iku — go pick up my children
• ofuro ni hairu — take a bath
• hamigaki o suru — brush my teeth
• kodomo-tachi o nekaseru — put my children to bed

These are very common combinations, so try to remember them as whole phrases!

If you didn’t understand everything the first time, don’t worry. Listen again and see how much more you can understand the second time.
