Constants and Variables: Finding an Anchor in Change

Variables shift with their circumstances; constants remain fixed. When our health, work, relationships, and roles are changing, we can mistake those changing variables for our identity. Peace becomes possible when we stop asking temporary circumstances to provide permanent security and re-anchor ourselves in the unchanging source of our value.
