Built on Belief | Ahmad Ramadan | Episode 12

We explore Ahmad Ramadan's journey from arriving in Michigan as a six year old immigrant from Lebanon to building a career at the highest levels of American government.

Ahmad shares what it meant to grow up as the bridge between his family and a new country, translating, navigating systems, and carrying responsibility before he was old enough to fully understand it. He reflects on studying biology before discovering a passion for political science, getting involved in politics during a pivotal chapter in American history, and the unexpected phone call from Congresswoman Debbie Dingell that opened the door to a career in public service. From the Department of Labor to the White House to his current role at the State of Michigan's Department of Economy and Infrastructure, Ahmad reflects on identity, service, and what it means to build a life rooted in two worlds.

This episode continues the conversation: real stories, meaningful transformation, and perspectives that inspire.
