DRAMA: Josh Heupel NOT Ready to Name Tennessee Football Starting QB for Arkansas Game

Tennessee Vols’ quarterback drama takes center stage as Josh Heupel shuts down repeated questions on whether Faizon Brandon or George MacIntyre will start under center. With media and fans in a frenzy, Heupel’s Monday press conference delivers tension, intrigue, and a rare moment of sideline candor.

Eric Cain breaks down Tennessee’s quarterback competition, analyzing the impact of Brandon’s injury, MacIntyre’s poised relief performance against Auburn, and the offensive line’s surprising shift in protection. Key discussion points include the Vols’ locker room dynamics, the effect of inconsistent coaching statements, and the team’s evolving run game and passing attack. With matchups against Arkansas and Alabama on the horizon, the search for stability at QB will define the Vols’ season. Will Heupel make the bold call fans are hoping for?
