Fort Laramie presents “Boatwrights Story,” episode 2 of the CBS frontier drama, originally broadcast January 29, 1956. Written by John Meston, the episode stars Raymond Burr as Captain Lee Quince.
Quince leads a cavalry patrol from Fort Laramie to stop a white gunrunner from supplying Henry repeating rifles to Yellow Knife, while threatened homesteaders and trooper Boatwright’s personal anger raise the stakes on the frontier.
Fort Laramie presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
