Box 13 presents “Find Me, Find Death,” episode 36, originally broadcast April 24, 1949. Alan Ladd stars as novelist and former newspaperman Dan Holiday in this Mutual network mystery, written by Russell Hughes and directed by Vern Carstensen.
An anonymous letter arrives at Dan’s Box 13 mail drop with a chilling warning: he will be killed within four days unless he can identify the person behind the threat. As the deadline closes in, Dan follows the few clues available in a deadly challenge aimed at the man who advertised for adventure.
Box 13 presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned and mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
