Box 13 presents “Find Me, Find Death,” episode 36 of the classic mystery series, originally broadcast April 24, 1949. Alan Ladd stars as mystery novelist and adventurer Dan Holiday, with Sylvia Picker as Suzy; the episode was written by Russell Hughes.
A hand-delivered anonymous letter warns Dan that he will be found and killed within four days—unless he can identify the person behind the threat first. With his Box 13 newspaper-mail-drop adventures suddenly turned against him, Dan races an unseen adversary on a tightening deadline.
Box 13 presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
