The provided text consists of excerpts from the children’s book Little Miss Helpful by Roger Hargreaves, published in the early 1980s. The story characterizes the titular figure as a well-meaning but clumsy individual whose attempts to assist others invariably lead to disaster. In one instance, she tries to tie Mr. Tall's shoelaces but accidentally trips him and causes further pain by misplacing medical bandages. Later, she insists on cleaning the home of Mr. Happy, only to create a massive mess that results in him being launched into a lake. Ultimately, the sources illustrate a humorous irony where the protagonist's eagerness to be useful only creates more trouble for her friends.
