Fibber McGee and Molly presents “Doc’s New Car,” originally broadcast on NBC on May 5, 1955. This local archival recording is episode number 1155 of the long-running Wistful Vista comedy.
When Doc Gamble acquires a new automobile, Fibber and Molly find plenty to discuss in their familiar neighborhood style. Jim and Marian Jordan star as Fibber and Molly, with Arthur Q. Bryan as their perpetually sparring neighbor, Doc Gamble.
Fibber McGee and Molly presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned and mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
