Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar presents “The Amy Bradshaw Matter, Part 5,” originally broadcast on CBS Radio on November 25, 1955. This fifth and final chapter of the serial is commonly listed as episode 272 and stars Bob Bailey as freelance insurance investigator Johnny Dollar.
In New York’s Broadway world, Dollar’s investigation into death threats against celebrated actress Amy Bradshaw reaches its climactic stage. Written by Robert Ryf and produced and directed by Jack Johnstone, the case balances danger, publicity, and conflicting motives as Johnny works to determine how real the threat may be.
Yours Truly Johnny Dollar presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
