Yours Truly Johnny Dollar presents “The Amy Bradshaw Matter, Part 1,” originally broadcast on CBS Radio on November 21, 1955. Episode 5511 opens a five-part serial starring Bob Bailey as freelance insurance investigator Johnny Dollar, written by Robert Ryf and directed by Jack Johnstone.
Johnny is sent into New York’s theater world when celebrated stage actress Amy Bradshaw receives death threats—and her insurer needs to know whether the danger is real or a publicity stunt. As Dollar begins asking questions, celebrity, insurance, and uncertain motives make for a troubling case.
Yours Truly Johnny Dollar presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
