CBS Radio Mystery Theater presents “Lovers and Killers,” Episode 504, originally broadcast on August 5, 1976. Written by Sam Dann and directed by Himan Brown, the drama features Robert Dryden, Russell Horton, Marian Seldes, Evie Juster, and Robert Maxwell.
A young lothario is tried for the murder of a married woman’s husband after an encounter tied to a singles bar. As conflicting testimony unfolds, reluctant juror David Miller, Juror No. 2, must weigh the competing versions of events in this courtroom-centered mystery.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
