CBS Radio Mystery Theater presents “The Ghost Grey Bat” (also listed as “The Ghost-Grey Bat”), originally broadcast March 25, 1981, as episode 1176. Hosted by E. G. Marshall, this original drama was written by Ian Martin and directed by Himan Brown.
While on sabbatical, philosophy professor Alec Grant and his new wife, Moira, trade their New York apartment for an isolated Austrian chalet near Wintersbad. But their hosts are nowhere to be found, the caretaker is unsettling, and reports of a large gray winged presence turn their delayed honeymoon into a chilling Alpine mystery. The cast includes Don Scardino, Jennifer Harmon, Robert Dryden, and Joan Shay.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
