CBS Radio Mystery Theater presents “Forty-Five Minutes to Murder,” episode 495, originally broadcast on June 28, 1976. Written by Sam Dann and directed by Himan Brown, this contemporary mystery features Larry Haines, Leon Janney, and Joan Shay.
A bitter business feud seems to be settling when Jim Raglan sends Carroway Chemicals vice president Emmet Martindale an extravagant bottle of cognac. But when the gift brings tragedy to the Martindale home, a poison investigation exposes unsettling contradictions—and a crucial forty-five-minute gap.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
