Hello football fans, and welcome back to the Ultimate Football Heroes Podcast. Issy is here, proud West Ham goalkeeper, and George is back after a slightly less cheerful week as a Nottingham Forest fan. Together they bring you more stories, matches, and fun from the beautiful game.
Match Predictions
Last week, Issy and George made their first score predictions. Issy backed West Ham to beat Liverpool, while George predicted a Liverpool win. Only one person was right. George takes the early lead on the scoreboard. The competition is on, and it will run all season. Send us your predictions too at ufhpodcast@gmail.com.
Lionesses at Wembley
We also take a look at England’s big match at Wembley where the Lionesses beat China in style. Georgia Stanway scored a brilliant hat trick, and Issy shares a very cool story. She once trained alongside Georgia at Blackburn Rovers. The Lionesses continue to shine and inspire young players everywhere.
Listener Voice Notes
This week we hear from not one, but two superstar listeners. Twins Anya and Aria from Caversham Park share their football stories, their goals, and their Lionesses inspiration. We also cheer on a speedy recovery and celebrate their football heroes Ella Toone and Georgia Stanway.
Two Truths and One Lie
Our weekly game gets a twist. With Chloe Kelly’s brand new Ultimate Football Heroes book coming out this week, Issy and George play two truths and one lie all about Chloe. Did you guess which fact was the fake one? If not, you can learn everything from the new book.
New Predictions
This week’s fixtures are Tottenham vs Brentford in the Premier League and Arsenal vs Liverpool in the WSL. Issy and George go head to head with brand new predictions. Who will earn the next point? And what are your guesses? Email your predictions and we might read them out next episode.
