During a train journey, Llewellyn pauses in a remote Welsh village where the residents seem oddly watchful and the atmosphere grows increasingly ancient and unsettling. Drawn toward the mysterious Ilse and the village’s unfamiliar customs, he finds an ordinary stopover taking a strange turn.
