The Lone Ranger presents “Desert Murder,” episode 1176 of the classic radio series, originally broadcast on August 7, 1940. This archival recording preserves an episode from the long-running adventures of the masked Western hero.
With only the episode’s original title and broadcast information available, this presentation remains focused on the surviving archival program and its period atmosphere.
The Lone Ranger presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
