The Lone Ranger presents “Design for Murder,” episode 1545 of The Lone Ranger, originally broadcast December 16, 1942. Brace Beemer stars as the Lone Ranger, with John Todd as Tonto.
In the high border country near Canada, the Lone Ranger and Tonto encounter growing danger around the Martin Copper Mine. Young Dan Frisby, Old Mac, and a troubling silver bullet draw them into an unfolding struggle involving the ominous Snake Handson. Written by Fran Striker, this installment continues the Martin Copper Mine storyline.
The Lone Ranger presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned and mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
