🎙️ Speak Up On-Site | Brocade Gen 8 Fibre Channel Customer Event in Istanbul
Speak Up was on site at the Brocade Gen 8 Fibre Channel customer event, discussing how infrastructure is evolving in the age of AI.
In a world where AI is no longer experimental but business-critical, performance alone is not enough. Infrastructure must be secure, resilient, and ready for the long term.
It was a pleasure to host AJ Casamento, Principal R&D Engineer at Broadcom, and explore the strategic vision behind Gen 8.
Key highlights from the session:
▪️ 64G Fibre Channel delivering higher throughput and ultra-low latency
▪️ Architecture optimized for AI & ML workloads
▪️ Reduced storage-to-GPU/CPU latency for demanding data pipelines
▪️ Quantum-safe security readiness
▪️ Enterprise-grade SAN built for finance, healthcare, and public sector environments
“As AI becomes mission-critical, infrastructure must move from being fast to being future-ready. Gen 8 is built with that mindset.” AJ Casamento, Principal R&D Engineer, Broadcom
Gen 8 is not just a technology upgrade, it represents a forward-looking investment for AI-driven enterprises.
