Old Time Retro Radio presents The Adventures of Superman, “The Mystery of the Dragons Teeth Part-9,” originally broadcast March 27, 1946. In this penultimate chapter of the ten-part serial, Bud Collyer stars as Superman and Clark Kent, with Joan Alexander as Lois Lane.
Clark follows Lois’s trail from the Pacific Flier toward Carson City, where dangerous fugitives, a dust-storm-swept prairie road, and the sought-after jade dragon’s teeth raise the stakes. Produced by Robert Maxwell for the Mutual Broadcasting System and sponsored by Kellogg’s Pep, the serial reworks the earlier 1941 storyline The Dragon’s Teeth.
Old Time Retro Radio presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned and mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
