Suspense presents “Death at Live Oak,” listed in this archival recording as episode 5, originally broadcast May 1, 1947.
Financially ruined David Sutherland meets the frightened Diana Blake and learns that he bears an uncanny resemblance to her estranged husband, Rex Melville. Robert Mitchum and Mary Jane Croft star in this tense, noir-tinged drama by Robert E. Lee and E. Jack Neuman.
Suspense presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned and mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
