This episode investigates the haunting disappearance of Hayden Mannis, a young Indiana boy who vanished years before authorities were notified. Family members last saw the child in late 2019, yet tips suggest he was alive as late as August 2020 while living with his father and a girlfriend. The case is severely complicated by the father’s recent fatal overdose and the inconsistent statements provided by his former partner, who remains a person of interest. Investigative leads have led police to search for evidence within a residential closet and at a truck stop where a witness reported the smell of death. Although sources indicate a potential confession regarding the disposal of a body, no formal charges have been filed due to a lack of physical evidence. Ultimately, the boy’s family and local prosecutors continue to seek justice for a child they believe is no longer alive.
