The Whistler presents “Grave Secret,” originally broadcast February 27, 1949. This circulating AFRS version is commonly cataloged as episode 351. Written by Steve Hampton, the suspense drama features Sarah Selby, Howard McNear, and Betty Lou Gerson.
In the quiet, tree-shaded Eldridge neighborhood, Harriet Eldridge maintains a carefully controlled household routine built around a steady flow of letters from her supposedly absent wealthy employer. But when the employer’s niece arrives unexpectedly from Australia, polite questions begin to threaten a secret that may not stay buried.
Old Time Horror Radio presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
