Roland Gift, Fine Young Cannibals and a very good Soho story

Myf and her brother Kit grew up loving Fine Young Cannibals and their raft of hits, so getting the voice behind She Drives Me Crazy on The Moment is a genuine thrill. Forty years on, Roland Gift is still funny, still surprising, and still chasing the beat. And Myf finds out just who interrupted Roland Gift's night in a Soho club to tell him she loved his cover of Suspicious Minds. My goodness!

Roland is one of the voices on a wonderful new podcast, Hit That Perfect Beat: The London Records Story, an immersive, star-studded deep dive into one of pop's greatest untold stories... the confidence, chaos and cultural impact of one of the UK's most influential record labels.

Listen to 'Hit That Perfect Beat' where ever you get your podcasts & the companion 40 track digital compilation is out now and available here: https://londonrecords.lnk.to/compilation.
