Return To Dust's Speak For The Dead: Next Gen, Grunge-Birthed Real Rock and Roll

Return to Dust are one of the most exciting young rock bands of the 2020s. They are melodic, melancholic, heavy when it counts, and armed with harmonies sharp enough to cut glass. Backstage in the US, we talked about what a real rock revival actually needs: great melodies, emotional honesty, and the kind of songs that punch straight through the noise.

We got into the band's origins, from video games and older brothers to burnout soundtracks. We talked metal, harmonies, breaking out in a festival world ruled by legacy giants, and the strange spirituality of Pink Floyd moments. There are therapy breakthroughs, bank robbery energy, and a lot of heart.
