Why We Bleed: Max Cavalera, Refused, HEALTH, Slomosa & Melvins on Singing Hard

We dive into the raw, chaotic and brilliant world of vocalists. Max Cavalera remembers a recording session with Chino Moreno that literally drew blood, Chaka Malik leaves his mark in the studio, HEALTH unpack the strange power of their song titles, Slomosa push back on the idea that music shouldn't be political, Refused reveal the intent behind their revolutionary sound, Walter Schreifels reflects on choosing honesty over expectation, and Melvins' Buzz Osborne explains why the rarest lyrics come from the happiest place. A fast, fiery collection of stories from the people who use their voices as weapons, instruments and release.
