Fall Asleep as a Courier Carrying Imperial Orders Across Ancient Persia

Ride across the vast Achaemenid Empire as an imperial courier entrusted with carrying a sealed message along the Persian Royal Road.

Your journey takes you through dusty plains, rugged mountain passes, bustling provincial cities, and lonely relay stations where fresh horses wait to carry you onward. Along the way, discover the remarkable network of roads, messengers, officials, and ordinary workers that allowed one of the ancient world's largest empires to stay connected across enormous distances.

Of course, delivering the message is only half the job. The other half is standing nearby while the recipient reads it and somehow decides that whatever unpleasant news it contains is probably your fault.

Get comfortable, close your eyes, and experience life as a messenger riding through ancient Persia.
