The beauty of Mt. Takao after the rain
I wrote about it in my Stories too,
but I went to Mt. Takao on Sunday.
Because it was after the rain, I could smell the grass and earth
without even trying, and it was amazing.
I once read in a book that “nature is the greatest artist,”
and I really felt that it was true.
As I looked at the shine of the trees after the rain,
the color of the moss, and the patterns in the cross-sections
of the tree stumps, I thought, wow, these are things humans
could never create.
