A beach that felt like heaven

7月21日から1週間くらい、沖縄に行ってきました。

今回は、沖縄で5番目に大きい島、久米島に初めて行きました。

那覇から飛行機で30分なのですが、東洋一美しいと言われている

「はての浜」という、砂浜だけの無人島があります。

今回の旅行で一番感動した場所だったのですが、

海がきれいすぎて、もし死んだ後に天国に行けるなら、

こんな場所がいいなあ、と思うほどでした。

しちがつ にじゅういちにちから いっしゅうかんくらい、

おきなわに いってきました。

こんかいは、おきなわで ごばんめに おおきい しま、

くめじまに はじめて いきました。

なはから ひこうきで さんじゅっぷんなのですが、

とうよういち うつくしいと いわれている「はてのはま」という、

すなはまだけの むじんとうが あります。

こんかいの りょこうで いちばん かんどうした ばしょだったのですが、

うみが きれいすぎて、もし しんだ あとに てんごくに いけるなら、

こんな ばしょが いいなあ、と おもうほどでした。

From July 21st, I spent about a week in Okinawa.

This time, I visited Kume Island,

the fifth-largest island in Okinawa, for the first time.

About a 30-minute flight from Naha,

there’s an uninhabited island called Hatenohama,

made up entirely of white sandy beaches.

It is often said to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the East.

It was the place that impressed me the most on this trip.

The ocean was so unbelievably beautiful that I found myself thinking,

“If there’s a heaven after I die, I hope it looks something like this.”
