The beauty of a dark night
If I move again someday, I’d like to live somewhere
where the town actually gets dark at night and I can see the stars.
I moved to Osaka when I was 18 to go to university.
It’s a little embarrassing to say this, but for a while after moving there,
I actually thought there were no stars in big cities.
I remember being so surprised when I learned that
you simply can’t see them when the city lights are too bright.
It made me realize that being able to experience a truly dark night
is something to be grateful for.
