In this episode, we sit down with Gilliane Fort, an FGCU alumna originally from Lima, Peru, who now works on the marketing team at Elite DNA Behavioral Health. Gilliane shares her personal story of moving from Peru to the United States at the age of 18. She opens up about the struggles she faced, from cultural shock to adapting to a new language and lifestyle, as well as the challenges of being away from her family. Despite the hardships, Gilliane reflects on the positive aspects of her journey, including the opportunities that came with studying at FGCU and how these experiences helped her grow personally and professionally.
