Social Media: How can I find a meaningful community online? (with Karla Williams Posiuniene) — Emerging: How to Eventually Make it in Film & TV

This week's guest will be verrrrry familiar to anyone who regularly finds themselves watching screenwriting content on TikTok - Karla Williams Posiuniene has made a name for herself sharing industry info online, and it's started to open doors in every direction. So is it worth doing? And how?

On top of some A+ community-finding advice, Karla also goes into detail about her unusual journey to date, from playwright, to finding a top agent at Curtis Brown, to going out on her own when that relationship didn't work out. We also delve into the industry fallout from 2020's "BLM summer" and explore some uncomfortable truths around the effect it had on representation long term.

And of course if you want to follow Karla's journey, you can find all her links at https://bio.site/cue.karla
