The Extra Legendary Bit: The Pub Puma & more great escapes!

Welcome back to Bloomin’ Legends!

The Extra Legendary Bit is the bonus episode where Johnny Vaughan and Gavin “The Woodman” Woods leave the history books behind and dive into the gloriously unhinged stories sent in by you, the listeners.

In this week’s bonus episode, the lads hear about a five-year-old’s devastatingly unsuccessful attempt to run away from home, a larger-than-life Kiwi who wrestles a python out of a car engine and somehow carries on drinking, and the completely baffling tale of an Edinburgh pub that once kept a puma in the lounge bar.

What You’ll Hear in This Episode:

• The Great Escape That Wasn’t – One listener recalls trying to run away from home aged five, only for his parents to respond with almost unbearable calm.
• Python in the Philippines – A six-foot snake in a car engine leads to one of the toughest listener stories yet, involving a hessian sack, a bitten hand and a heroic lack of fuss.
• The Pub Puma – Yes, really: a Scottish pub once kept a puma on the premises, because apparently that used to be considered a reasonable idea.
