Chris Van Dusen and the Tropical Fruit Festival

Ayuh, it's a wicked good time with author, illustrator and beloved Maine resident Chris Van Dusen. He and Holly will talk all things Maine license plate, memorable sunburns, kid mobsters, and how his books make the world shine.

Kate DiCamillo, Mac Barnett, Brian Flocca, Peter Sagal, and Bob Marley (nope, no that one--the comedian) will all make appearances.

So will Chris' older brother, Mr. Magee, who just so happens to be fresh off his camping spree.

Chris' brand new book in the "If I Built" series is called If I Built a Town, plus (**BREAKING NEWS**) he'll release a brand new Mercy Watson Valentine's picture book with Kate DiCamillo just in time for Valentine's Day, available for Christmas purchasing in 2026. You can find Chris on Instagram.
