Books are for Lover Girls: Reading, Romanticizing Your Life, and Seeking Authenticity [VIDEO]

In an age where BookTok is throwing fairy romance, beach flings, and mafia bosses at you, @MelsLiteraryDisco is here to tell you there's so much more!

We chat with Melissa, the creator behind @MelsLiteraryDisco, "Studio 54 but for books". A space where books of all kinds can come together and just jam.

It's a thoughtful conversation where we discuss her entry into reading after not being one in childhood/teenager-hood like so many adult readers are, how her Scorpio moon likely has a role to play in the books she likes, and the pipeline between book lovers and lover girls. It's an openness to be soft, vulnerable, and authentic.

We're kicking off Busy Gal Summer Sessions: a casual, not über-travel focused series focused mainly on women who chase their hobbies and passions. Basically, what makes their world turn during the season of long days and hazy heat.
