Jay visited Tha Prachan for a fortune reading, which cost 399 baht and made him reflect on his future and past work stress in Germany. Seeking peace, he took a tuk-tuk to Wat Saket (Golden Mount). The golden stupa shining against Bangkok’s skyline amazed him. Climbing the spiral stairs, he felt tranquility with wind chimes in the air.
