Older than Bangkok itself — built over 250 years ago by a Hokkien merchant who once collected taxes and managed the bird's-nest trade, this nail-free Chinese mansion's central courtyard was converted into a diving school in 2004 by its 8th-generation heir, just to help pay for its own upkeep. The 9th generation still runs it today: hand-carved patterns, lucky motifs, diving lessons, and coffee, all under one very rare roof.
