【Peaky Blinders】
Woke up rich, but my soul was broke,Signed my life with a whiskey-soaked stroke.Bought a castle, but the roof still leaks,Hired a prophet who only speaks Greek.
They say money buys you grace,But my demons own the place.Laughed so hard I nearly cried,Buried my hope where my conscience died.
Oh, I dance with the devil in a three-piece suit,Sold my heart for a golden flute.Played my cards, now the deck’s on fire,And the house always wins when you’re a liar.
Wrote a will with invisible ink,Left my love to a kitchen sink.Took a bullet but I’m still here,Guess death’s got better things to fear.
They say power makes you strong,But I’ve been weak for way too long.Smiled so wide it split my face,Turns out karma loves the chase.
Oh, I dance with the devil in a three-piece suit,Sold my heart for a golden flute.Played my cards, now the deck’s on fire,And the house always wins when you’re a liar.
Built an empire on a house of sand,Shook hands with ghosts in a promised land.Fed my doubts with caviar lies,Till the truth came knocking in a cheap disguise.
Now I ride where the cold winds call,Tip my hat and watch it fall.No more bets, no tricks up my sleeve,Just a joke that no one believes.
